Kathleen Martinez

Kathleen is our associate attorney born and raised in Portland, Oregon. After graduating from Jesuit High School, Kathleen attended Mount St. Mary’s University in Los Angeles with a B.A. in Political Science and Healthcare Policy and a minor in Pre-law. Kathleen received her Juris Doctorate from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2017. Kathleen’s interest in immigration law initiated while working on employment class action lawsuits while clerking for a civil litigation firm in San Diego, California. The majority of these plaintiffs needed immigration assistance.

After passing the Texas bar exam, Kathleen practiced family law in Dallas, Texas. While practicing family law, Kathleen’s interest in immigration law grew from assisting in the execution of marriage visas for her clients. Kathleen then married her husband and moved her family back to Portland to raise her son in the Pacific Northwest. In October of 2019, Kathleen joined the team at Bailey Immigration, PC. is passionate about immigration law and is excited to practice here in Portland.
