Reschedule Missed Interview Appointment in Ciudad Juarez

It is always recommended that you attend the original interview to reduce delays but it’s not always possible due to various circumstances. If you are unable to attend, there are steps that you should take to reschedule the interview as soon as you are ready.

You may have a reason to get your interview rescheduled and this could be proven by a doctor’s letter or by giving an explanation of why you didn’t attend. It can cause delays to get a new interview so you shouldn’t expect to receive one in a timely manner as you will need to wait for a visa to be available or for the consulate to have available appointments.

Each consulate works differently when it comes to rescheduling an interview. However, most consulates have an inquiry form that gives you step by step instructions on how to reschedule. Ciudad Juarez does have an inquiry form that will allow you to reschedule from there. You should have your case number and any information pertaining to the case. It will be necessary that you provide them with the accurate information they are requesting.

Upon the consulate receiving your request, you can expect to receive a response within a month letting you know how they will proceed. The consulate will send you an email to confirm that they received your request and let you know that a second email with an interview date will also be sent at a later time. This means that the applicant has been placed in line. There’s not an exact wait time as they tend to evaluate all cases on a case by case basis. There have been interviews scheduled within 2-3 months from when the consulate places the applicant in line but it could also be much longer.
